Wemmers Tanktransport Achieves Second Lean & Green Star

Tanktransport was proud to have recently achieved its second Lean & Green star. This recognition confirms that, after a previous 20% CO₂ reduction, we have again achieved at least an additional 10% reduction in emissions in three years. A wonderful compliment to our drivers, planners, and all other colleagues and partners who contribute to this daily.

For us, sustainability is about practical and conscious choices: well-maintained trucks and trailers, responsible driving, smart route planning, and close collaboration with customers and suppliers. By accurately measuring our emissions per delivery, we gain insight into our progress and continue to make targeted improvements.

Continuing to Improve Sustainability 

Meanwhile, we continue to build our future. At a strategically and efficiently located site near the Gorinchem A15 and A27 interchange in the Netherlands, we are developing a new facility with offices, a workshop, and a car wash. With the construction of this new facility, we are continuing our efforts to improve sustainability and create a cleaner logistics chain.
